Cataract Surgery May Lower Risk for Dementia

A recent article in JAMA Internal Medicine investigated the relationship between cataract surgery and cognitive decline. The authors found that cataract extraction was associated with a lower risk for developing dementia in older adults.

Yoga as Adjunct Glaucoma Therapy

A small, randomized study in the Journal of Glaucoma found that glaucoma patients who participated in daily yoga and deep breathing classes for six months realized a nearly 6 mm Hg drop in IOP.
